Permitted uses
W1A permits research only; W1B permits agriculture, fish farming, recreation, ecotourism, research and energy generation.
Prohibited uses
Both prohibit industrial, residential, commercial and public facility uses; W1A also prohibits all agriculture.
Conditional uses
W1B allows walkways, bicycle trails, picnic areas and construction material production on conditions. The A or B suffix decides which list applies.
Building rules
The table sets no coverage, floor area ratio or height for this zone.
What to check
W1 names the family, not the schedule. Get the full code, W1A or W1B, from the plan, and keep the 20 m wetland buffer either way.
