Permitted uses
Road reserves and railways, bus terminals and stations, airports and ports, parking, depots, telecom, water and power networks, and afforestation.
Prohibited uses
Major industrial and major residential uses.
Conditional uses
Repair garages, commerce at terminals and interchanges, fuel stations, selling points and offices, hotels and restaurants, and worker accommodation.
Building rules
What to check
A road reserve is liable to expropriation when the road is built. Projects need review-panel approval with MININFRA, RTDA and RURA.
