API and Excel

Put Ziinga’s parcel data and recorded prices into your own systems and spreadsheets. The fields and their names are the data dictionary’s, fixed for version v1.

API keys

Parcel lookups need a key, one per organisation. Area prices are public and need none. Keys are issued on request and can be revoked at any time. Up to 50 UPIs per call and 120 calls a minute per key.

Parcels by UPI

Register fields, zone, wetland share, the value estimate and the NLA recorded price, from Ziinga’s copy of the register. A UPI the copy does not hold returns not_found with a note.

Formats: format=json (default), format=csv, and format=value&field=<field> for a single value as plain text.

Recorded prices by area

Every district, sector and cell NLA recorded land price, filterable. No key.

Errors

400: No valid UPI, more than 50 UPIs, or an unknown field.
401: No key, or a key that is not recognised.
429: More than 120 calls in a minute on one key.

Excel

Excel for Windows: the template fills each row with WEBSERVICE formulas. Paste your key into cell H1, and UPIs into column A.

Excel on Windows or Mac with Power Query: Data, Get Data, From Web, then paste a CSV address such as the one below. Refresh pulls the latest figures.

A ZIINGA.VALUE() custom function for Excel on the web is planned; it needs testing in a Microsoft 365 environment before release.
